Netflix wanted something special for the season two premiere of their Netflix Original series Marco Polo and approached National Experiential with inspired vision. The season 2 premier announcement was scheduled to drop in Los Angeles, and the streaming network wanted a captivating teaser event.

National Experiential knew that a 3D Video Mapping campaign would stand out in this savvy media market but an imposed six-week production timeline was tight and full of milestones; secure a relevant location, drive a heavy content pipeline, draft a rigging plan, and ready a network of key production staff. National Experiential respected the client’s vision and honored to be a part of history so we got busy.

The Babylonian arch in the middle of the Hollywood & Highland Center made a perfect backdrop for the dominant themes so National Experiential pushed to see the client’s vision become reality at this popular location. The archway is  “the Times Square” of Hollywood Boulevard, seeing thousands of visitors and locals as they shop and play day and night. National Experiential worked with Hollywood & Highland property management to secure the space. Our production team also teamed hand-in-hand with the client to develop content as projector alignment ran around the clock.
