DESPICABLE ME 3
Universal Pictures turned to National Experiential to create an immersive out-of-the-box experience, to promote the highly anticipated movie release of Despicable Me 3.
National Experiential fabrications department transformed NYC’s 30 Rock into an interactive experience for the people of New York City. Complete with one-of-a-kind photo opportunities with life-sized characters from the highly acclaimed movie series. Many viewers took to social media to share their experience & voiced a strong desire to see the newest Universal Pictures movie Despicable Me 3.
Universal Pictures wanted to create an immersive experience teaser for the upcoming Tom Cruise movie The Mummy. The movie is set to release on June 9th, 2017. The target for the first teaser immersive experience was Austin Texas and the famed SXSW Festival. Over 160,000 people attend the festival each year and for 5 Days, the Mummy VR Experience was what everyone was talking, tweeting, and posting about on social media.
National Experiential engineered and designed the internal and external rear cargo and seating areas of the The C-130 Hercules based on Universal Pictures renderings. Using a total of 7 High Powered Digital HD Projectors, curved and flat screens, a real Sarcophagus from the set of the movie, and a ton of ingenuity, National Experiential built a replica of the exterior and interior of the military transport aircraft.
The Shell Oil Company which is amongst the largest oil companies in the world wanted to amplify their celebration of the ordinary who did extraordinary things in the Houston area during Hurricane Harvey.
National Experiential was brought in to transform Shell's epic "Wall of Heroes" idea into a living, breathing tribute that became alive thank you to the hometown Heroes that went the extra mile for their fellow Houstonians. We fabricated, installed, and managed the 8 Foot high Digital Display.
The custom-built interactive solar-powered installation featured the portraits of 153 Hometown Heroes nominated by Houstonians in an online component that was featured on the Shell Oil website. A digital picture slideshow, as well as a video that showcased the "Harvey Heroes" in action, was also on display during the activation, it told the stories of heroism and selfless sacrifices that were made to help others in great need.
Universal Pictures wanted to excite Mama Mia, Moms' and Abba Fans with an engaging experiential opportunity to promote Mama Mia 2. This campaign was purposely fun and simple in order to provide a social sharing moment.
National Experiential fabricated a custom 'Boomerang' Photo Opportunity by recreating a magical scene from the original Mama Mia film franchise. Fans were photographed in the Mama Mia environment at both RuPauls' Dragcon and Mom 2.0 con and encouraged to share their photos online. National Experiential brought Mama Mia and Universal's Marketing concept to life and handled all aspects of staffing as well as production.
