Objective: Finals week is one of the few moments where a brand can show up and actually mean something. Students are stressed, running on irregular schedules, and making quick decisions about food. Kraft wanted to be the answer to that moment. Not just visible, but useful.  

Challenge: College students don't respond to traditional channels the way other audiences do. They're mobile, selective, and surrounded by constant messaging. Finals week compounds that. The activation needed to meet them where they already were, across seven different campuses, without losing consistency. 

Kraft - University of Illinois - Custom

Solution: National Experiential deployed a fleet of custom-branded Mac & Cheese trucks that moved campus to campus throughout finals week. Each truck was positioned in high-traffic areas during peak evening hours, placing the product directly into students' routines instead of asking them to seek it out.

The trucks weren't just sampling stations. They became a presence on campus. Something student walked toward, gathered around, and came back to.

Impact: The trucks drew consistent traffic throughout each stop. Student's didn't take a sample and move on. They stayed, gathered, and came back as the energy built during peak hours. Kraft showed up during one of the most predictable moments in a student's year and made the product part of it.

Relevance isn't built by showing up everywhere. It's built by showing up at the right time, in the right place, with something people actually want.
